Aqua Aerobics
Working out in
water has many different advantages. One of the
most important advantage is the reduction of
repetitive impact stress on your body.
This means you can
get a vigorous workout without causing injury to
muscles, tendons and joints.
All Fitness classes
are conducted and monitored by fully qualified
and friendly fitness instructors keen to help
you achieve your personal goals.
Whether you're an
elite athlete, or the closest you've come to
exercise is watching sport on TV, Aqua aerobics
is for you.
Different
techniques are used during classes to insure all
fitness levels are catered for. Some examples of
this would be, bent limbs are easier to move
through the water and slightly straighter limbs
create more resistance.
You may perform an
exercise lifting as high as you can out of the
water, or you may prefer to keep the majority of
the body under the water, thus lessening the
impact and the water carries most of your body
weight.
Some exercises will
be given in two to three different levels, where
you choose a level that is appropriate.
Whichever fitness level you fit into, there is
always longer, higher, and faster for you to
expand to as your fitness improves.
