Given the success of the lockdown process, the Queensland and Federal Government has moved quickly step to Stage 2 of the Roadmap to Recovery process. For the DLSA, this means we can increase the number of lessons offered as we continue to maintain and evolve our social distancing and transmission initiatives.
Starting Monday the 8th June, 140 new Infant/Toddler classes will be available for booking. The class parameter will remain the same for the rest of this special program, that being, a MAX of 4 BOOKINGS per 30MIN CLASS, with a 15MIN CHANGEOVER TIME between each class.
Also available, we are putting on a small selection of our very popular Water Familiarisation FREE Baby Classes. We see these classes as a valuable community service to new mums and dads to a great way to learn about Water Safety and your new born's aquatic journey (NOTE: LIMITED NUMBERS AVAILABLE).
Our next step is to bring our Close Proximity Classes (Adv Todds, WC1, WC2 and WC3) back into the program. We will be finalising our policies and procedures for how we are going to conduct these classes throughout next week and hope to have lessons available week starting 15th June, but we'll update you on that next week.
Finally Squads... We are very close to restarting our squad program at DLSA Wilsonton, we hope to have something available by week start 15th June as well, but we will know more next week. At this point in time the Centenary Heights State High School is still not allowing access to their facilities until the start of Term 3.
As always, we are working had to make sure we provide you and your family with a safe and healthy swimming environment. We will not rush back to a full reopening, we will take slow but confident steps.
